This screen print was inspired by my wonderfully friendly road. Neighbours have met for daily coffee since lockdown started and now also includes weekly outside evening drinks. This is a view from one particular meeting point. Ringo is the roaming street cat who has adopted many additional households in the area.
My screen prints involve multiple layers exposed onto screens combining my own sketches of local scenes with layers of colour and texture created from mark making and block relief printing. Each edition of prints takes many weeks to complete. I work partly in a local printmaking studio where they have a screen exposure unit and also at home in my kitchen.
Due to the hand printed nature of the printing process small variations can occur in each layer making each print a unique piece of artwork.

The artwork will be packaged in a sturdy envelope with additonal backing in a cellophane sleeve and shipped 2nd class with recorded delivery by Royal Mail. Only shipping to the UK.
